Mental Health Resources
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, which is the perfect opportunity to remind ourselves and those around us about the importance of seeking help when needed. The good news is that there are community mental health resources available in Dane County for those who may be struggling with mental health issues. In this post, we’ll explore some of the resources available and how they can help.
The Behavioral Health Resource Center (BHRC) is a voluntary person and family centered service designed to help Dane County residents access behavioral health services, regardless of insurance status, financial status, age, identity, ability or legal status. BHRC staff are available to help connect you to resources for your mental health and/or substance use needs. This is NOT a clinic, treatment provider, or crisis service.
